This Ain't Your Grandma's Tupperware party!
I was just thinking today as (I walked along the powdery beach here in Cayman Islands) how wonderful it is building an internet based business like Beachbody Coaching. I mean, I love my main profession- I'm a practicing anesthesiologist. But even with that, if I am not in the operating room, I'm not making any money.
With Team Beachbody Coaching (or any other of the best MLM companies for that matter) I can walk the beach and still earn income. That is powerful stuff!
Not only that, in network marketing I get to choose when and where to work. I can't do that as a doctor. Today I choose to work on my patio, listening to the poolside band playing across the way.
So why has network marketing gotten such a bad rap?
There are two reasons, really. And I bet you know them both before I say them.
The ick factor. We've all been bugged by distributors with the latest and greatest, who just don't know how to back off. None of us want to be bugged like that. And most people aren't too keen on annoying all their remaining friends and family either! It just doesn't feel right. Ick.
The other reason is that the large majority of network marketers fail. Even though the MLM industry has produced more millionaires than any other, the success rate is still only 3%. By that do I mean 3% become millionaires? (I wish!) No, I mean only 3 of every 100 new distributors in ANY MLM actually earn more money than they spend!
So the question then- for people looking into any MLM becomes: What can I do to make sure I succeed?
The answer will surprise you. I'm not going to say pick this company or that one. I'm not even going to tell you to pick Beachbody coaching over another MLM. The truth is that there are a lot of very good companies selling very good products. Your success doesn't hinge on which one you choose.
Your success depends on you attracting a continuous stream of interested people looking to build a lasting, ever-growing business.
